JESSIA Has Released Brand New EP – ‘Okay With Every Part’

Canadian Singer-songwriter JESSIA has just independently released her EP ‘Okay With Every Part’. The EP spans six tracks with vibrant and melancholic pop melodies. JESSIA takes you on a journey through both the positive and more difficult aspects of her life making for a personal and emotional release.
Starting off the EP is previously released single ‘Different People’. A combination of moving keys builds into synths and a steady beat. JESSIA’s vocals are laced with a sense of longing complimenting the theme of one-sided relationships and heartbreak.
‘Friends With My Friends’ continues, a snappy track, just over two minutes. It explores relationships through honest lyrics showcasing JESSIA’s belting vocals further.
A catchy ‘He’s a 10’ switches the feel of longing for a powerful snap back. Opening with the chorus that comes further through the track it draws you in. If you want something that makes you reconsider a person you think could be the one, ‘He’s a 10’ is perfect. This adds a dynamic playful nature to the EP and highlights the range of lyricism JESSIA can pull off.
Packed with sentimental chords ‘Care About Me’ strips it back. More heart wrenching lyrics are moving. ‘Happy Without You’ shares the same reflective lyrics with a more positive and vibrant tone.
Finalising the EP is ‘The Woman You Are’. This track is full of nostalgia with expressive vocals. Touching on the theme of female empowerment this track is a powerful ending.
‘Okay With Every Part’ is full of catchy pop melodies that stick with you. An easy listen, with polished flexible vocals. JESSIA has nailed the themes of relationships with a range of reminiscence, a little bitterness and empowerment. The EP is an impressive independent release, clearly reclaiming her identity as an artist.
Alongside the release, JESSIA has also announced her debut headline tour spanning across America and Canada. Tickets go on sale next week on 26th July.
