Nory – J: ‘Irrelevant, Benevolent’ The Perfect Song to Close the Summer – Review

Nory – J is an incredible British artist, with a discography of indie pop style songs, having over 60,000 streams on Spotify and you can clearly see why. He has released a brand-new song titled ‘Irrelevant Benevolent’ today.

The track begins with funky sounding piano, instantly captivating as a steady drum beat comes in. The instrumentals continue throughout the chorus adding that catchy feel with soothing, mellow vocals.

The bridge sees these instrumentals develop, a section without lyrics adding to the LoFi element of the song. This creates an underlying melancholic tone matching with the lyrics discussing an unstable romance and the storm after a breakup.

The Bedroom pop with hints of LoFi makes for a perfect combination and a beautifully put together track. ‘Irrelevant Benevolent’ is written complexly whilst sounding chilled with stunning vocals.

Fitting in perfectly with the current era of songs, be sure to listen to ‘Future Days’ and of course this brilliant new one 'Irrelevant Benevolent'!
