Rivabyrds formed just less than a year ago in August 2022 and have since released two singles, ‘Boys Laws’ earlier this year and their latest being ‘Grace’. They are a Birmingham based band fitting into the indie/garage rock genre and their first releases show just how talented they are.
Released on 26th May this year, ‘Grace’ begins with calming guitar, shortly after, the other instruments and vocals hit, with hints of rock throughout. The song is balanced and beautifully constructed, remaining cohesive but interesting. Before the bridge comes unique instrumentals adding to the song.
This release has been clearly thought out with great lyrics and instrumentals working well alongside one another. ‘Grace’ is dynamic and versatile, a great addition to a playlist.
