If you haven’t heard of The Crowstones and you enjoy British rock then keep an eye out!

If you haven’t heard of The Crowstones and you enjoy British rock then keep an eye out for 17th March because they have their dynamic debut release ‘Disarray’ coming out.

They formed this year and are from Southend-On-Sea, named after ‘The Crowstone’ monument on Chalkwell beach, tying them to their home town.

The song begins with just over ten seconds of instrumental, a peaceful sounding guitar before haunting vocals come in. Shortly after, the modern rock feel becomes apparent as distorted guitar, powerful drums and bass lead up to the impressive chorus.

The song swiftly switches back to the instrumentals like the beginning, cleverly combining a range of instruments such as strings, violins and cellos to achieve this.

The way the song alternates helps to create an emotional feel, reflecting the feelings of the person discussed within the song, who is struggling with depression and his disorganised mind.

Be here from the start as this brand-new band start their journey in 2023 with an incredible release. Don’t take my word for it, if you can’t wait head over to their Instagram @/thecrowstones to hear a short clip of their track and make sure to pre-save it too. This band have so much more lined up for this year, can’t wait to see where it leads them!
