TYA Ends an Era with Two New Impressive Demos

ree

Rising artist TYA has shared two demos completing ‘My Lonely Horny Era’. ‘Pessimists Cry’ and ‘Paperback’ are a part of a curated playlist of TYA’s music as this era comes to a close. She makes blazing pop anthems, with hints of rock, alt pop and softer acoustic hits. These two demos give you the best of both worlds.

Starting off with ‘Pessimists Cry’, you’re greeted with groovy, stop-start guitar and their distinct vocals. A driving beat adds to the snappiness of the two-minute track. TYA is an expert at vocal tone in this one, hitting all the right spots. Laced with a sassiness, advocating for summer love and ignoring the haters ‘Pessimists Cry’ is a fun alt-pop rock song, perfect for your playlists.

Moving to ‘Paperback’, delicate piano opens, setting the tone for a stripped back track. Her vocals are a clear focus here, drawn out and powerful. The tempo is cleverly carried through considered piano timing. Full of reminiscence for what could have been. ‘Paperback’ is graceful and emotive.

These demos are a great example of TYA’s music and talent. Easily going from an instrumental heavy, ‘Pessimists Cry’ to impressively stripped back ‘Paperback’ makes it clear that TYA is multi-talented. As this era ends, I look forward to seeing what comes next!

Make sure to listen to ‘Pessimists Cry’ and ‘Paperback’ out now.
